These two ladies sort plastic waste from the Jhilmil and Mandoli factories, two industrial zones on the fringes of Delhi. Bhopura is a neighbourhood adjacent to the capital, located in the State of Uttar Pradesh where the environmental laws are less stringent. This has encouraged the growth of recycling workshops at this site over the last few years.
